Destinations is a tool that let's you set and change
Named Destinations (or marked page locations) from
within your Office Documents.
When the document is converted to PDF the Named Destinations are automatically
added to the PDF making the destinations instantly available for PDF Authors.
Named Destinations can be used as targets for links, form fields, bookmarks are
even be called using special Web Page URL syntax.
For example if you have created a named destination in your PDF called 'heading1'
you could quickly access that page in a browser using:
http://..../mypdf#heading1
Destinations let's you set named destinations for specific ranges of pages, for
selected text or even for the entire document. Destinations also let you specify
the naming convention used for your names making it easy to create company wide
naming conventions.
There's also a reporting facility that lists all of
the named destinations set on the document, along with the ability to export
this list as Encapsulated Postscript (EPS), Postscript (PS) Comma
Separated Values (CSV), HTML or even XML! |
